The vibration programmes
Your Mystim Vibe features 8 vibration programmes, 5 e-stim programmes and one programme specifically for training your pelvic floor. You decide whether you enjoy a continuous buzz for stimulation, or opt for intense intermittent pulsation. You will find a brief overview of the programmes in the appendix. But in this case, as in many other life situations, the best way to find out is to try it!
The e-stim programmes
Each of the five electrostimulation programmes offered by your E-Stim Vibe is designed to give you a new and exciting sensory experience. Each press of the e-stim button switches forward to the next programme. To avoid making a wrong setting, wait a while before increasing the intensity when you switch programmes, as the wave pattern programmes (2 and 4) only reach their highest stimulation level after about 3 seconds.
While the e-stim programmes described above stimulate the nerve endings, the exercise programme instead stimulates the muscle fibres in the pelvic floor, strengthening the muscles. With this programme, you should be able to feel your muscles contract. For optimal training effect, you should set the intensity as high as possible without experiencing contractions as painful. If you do not feel your muscles contract and relax again, try changing the position of your E-Stim Vibe. The workout is only effective if you can feel the muscle movement. To activate the training programme, click through the 5 e-stim programmes; the 6th e-stim programme is pelvic floor training. The muscle stimulation programme first goes through a phase of generating noticeable impulses that stimulate the pelvic floor to contract, followed by a recovery phase in which the muscles must relax. Both activities are necessary to achieve an ideal training effect. During the few seconds of the long recovery phase, it may appear that the electrostimulation is switched off. Please wait a few seconds for the cycle to restart.
Cleaning and care
Your Mystim vibrator is made of medical-grade platinum silicone. This makes it extremely hygienic and easy to clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. In addition, use a skin-friendly disinfectant regularly (note the relevant instructions for use). Let the vibrator dry completely before using or recharging it again. Make sure to use your vibe only with water-based lubricants.
